Office Benchmarks Input Definitions

To support your data collection, we’ve outlined the necessary inputs and corresponding definitions for each input. Each row in the CSV file should represent one office location, and each input should be office-specific.

Rest assured that all data entered is private. Data is only shared in aggregate, and no one will be able to identify your company’s data.

Current real estate definitions are as follows:

  1. Office Address: Street address where the office is located

  2. Office City: City where the office is located

  3. Office State or Region: State where the office is located (if applicable)

  4. Office Country: Country where the office is located

  5. Real Estate Type: Whether the office is leased, owned, or a co-working location.

  6. Office Size: The rentable amount of square feet (or square meters) of the office (typically found on the lease)

  7. Unit Type: The unit of measurement (e.g., whether you entered square feet or square meters for #6)

  8. Desk Count: The total number of desks or individual workstations in the office (including private offices)

  9. Number of Employees Assigned to Office: The number of employees assigned to this office in your HR system or the number of employees living within a commutable distance to the office (e.g., 50 miles)

  10. Average Daily Attendance (Past 30 Days): The average number of daily employees that have attended this office over the past 30 days, excluding weekends

  11. Total Office Attendance (Past 30 Days): The highest number of employees that have attended the office in a single day over the past 30 days

✍️ Note: When entering your office information, all fields are optional. However, you must provide the necessary information to access Office Benchmarks for each metric.
